SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to disinfectology and sanitation, and is intended for decontamination and sterilization of premises, transport, public places, social facilities. Device for producing a disinfectant comprises a power source, sequentially connected reservoir with a working solution, a liquid pump, a liquid atomizer, an activator of liquid to be sprayed. Device is equipped with sequentially connected air filter and air pump, inlet connected to the liquid atomizer, discharge control unit connected via a step-up transformer to the activator of the liquid to be sprayed, made either in the form of three discharge electrodes arranged in one plane in the form of rays uniformly distributed with respect to each other through 120°, or the number of discharge electrodes in the activator of the liquid to be sprayed is selected to be four, located in one plane in the form of rays, uniformly distributed with respect to each other through 90°.

EFFECT: use of the invention provides increased efficiency of the disinfectant production process.
