FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the equipment for converting light energy into electrical energy. Optocoupler contains a light source, a photoconverter and a housing. According to the invention, a xenon lamp is used as a light source, a solar cell battery is used as a photoconverter, wherein the housing is in the form of a tube made of a dielectric material. Potential distributors are made on the outer side surface of the housing. Optocoupler also includes a grid and an ellipsoidal reflector. Grid and solar cell battery are located on the same axis, coinciding with the axis of the housing. In one end of the case there is an ellipsoidal reflector, a grid and a xenon lamp, and in the second end there is a solar cell battery, while the xenon lamp is located along the optical axis of the ellipsoidal reflector, in the center of which there is an aperture where one electrode of the xenon lamp enters.
EFFECT: invention provides an expansion of the technological capabilities of the optocoupler by increasing its power and electrical strength.
