FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the equipment for converting light energy into electrical energy. Optocoupler contains a light source, a phototransducer, a housing. Tubular xenon spherical lamp was used as a light source, and a solar cell battery was used as a photoconverter. Body is made in the form of a pipe from a transparent dielectric material. On the outer side surface of the pipe of a transparent dielectric material there is a battery of solar cells, the attachment of a tubular xenon foot is provided by washers with nuts, and of washers to the pipe of transparent dielectric material – with screws. Connection of the optocoupler to the power circuit is provided through the electrodes of the tubular tube of the xenon lamp. Optocoupler outputs are outputs of a solar cell battery, a xenon lamp is located on the axis of the housing.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the expansion of the technological capabilities of an optocoupler by increasing its power and electrical strength.
