FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of study of wetting properties. To determine the equilibrium wettability of the interface between the void and the solid phase of the rock sample, a three-dimensional image of the internal structure of the sample is obtained. On the obtained image of the internal structure of the sample, a void space and a solid phase are isolated. Determine the interface between the void space and the solid phase of the sample and the distribution of minerals on this surface. Wettability of the solid phase at each point of the interface between the voids and the solid phase of the rock sample is determined. Numerically simulate the process of oil migration to the empty space filled with formation water at the initial stage of the formation of the oil and gas field, and, finally, determine the equilibrium wettability of the interface between the voids and the solid phase of the rock sample.
