FIELD: wireless communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for transmitting detection messages for direct communication between devices. Method is performed in a wireless terminal, wherein the wireless terminal is configured to perform direct communication between devices in a wireless communication system, the method includes a step of receiving a detection message providing D2D detection, moreover, the detection message contains control information of a stack of radio protocols associated with one or more properties of a transmitting wireless terminal, calculating the position of a receiving wireless terminal based on the control information and redirecting the detection message to another device in the wireless communication system.
EFFECT: invention allows to improve position determination of a wireless terminal.
