SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a composite for treating wells and its use in treating wells. Composite for treating a well wherein the composite for increasing the production of hydrocarbons, comprising a surface modifying treatment agent at least partially coated onto a solid particulate, and wherein the surface modifying treatment agent comprises a metallic anchor and a hydrophobic tail, wherein the hydrophobic tail is an organo-silicon material, a fluorinated hydrocarbon or both a hydrophobic organo-silicon material and a fluorinated hydrocarbon and further wherein the metallic anchor of the surface modifying treatment agent is attached to the solid particulate. Proppant or sand control agent solid particulates comprising said composite. Method of treating a well penetrated by a subterranean formation for increasing the production of hydrocarbons, comprising introducing into the well said composite or forming the composite in-situ in the well. Composite for treating a wellbore to increase the production of hydrocarbons, according to another embodiment, wherein the composite comprises solid particulates and a surface modifying treatment agent, at least partially coated onto a solid particulate, and wherein the surface modifying treatment agent comprising an anchor and at least one hydrophobic tail attached to the anchor, and the anchor is attached to the solid particulate. Method for treating a well penetrated by a subterranean formation to increase the production of hydrocarbons, comprising introducing into the well the composite of said embodiment or forming the composite in-situ within the well. Invention is developed in dependent items of the formula.

EFFECT: increased resistance to crushing of solid particulates, increased efficiency of treatment.
