SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, specifically to a combined system for producing steel, comprising a blast furnace for producing pig iron, a converter for producing crude steel and a gas line system for gases released during production of pig iron and/or during production of crude steel. Combined system comprises a chemical or a biotechnology system which is connected to the gas line system, as well as a system for producing hydrogen. System for producing hydrogen is connected by means of a hydrogen supply pipeline with the gas line system. System further comprises a power plant for generating electric current, designed as a gas turbine power plant or as a gas-steam turbine power plant and operated by means of a gas containing at least a portion of the mixture of blast furnace gas released during the production of pig iron in the blast furnace and/or a portion of the mixture of converter gas released in the steel plant converter.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create a combined system which enables to reduce steel production costs.
