FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for the production of iron and crude steel at a metallurgical plant using raw fumes, which are used in the form of at least a partial amount of blast furnace top gas produced in a blast furnace in the production of iron, and a partial amount of converter gas generated in the production of crude steel, which are collected for producing synthesis gas used for the production of chemical products, wherein from 1 % to 60 %, preferably from 10 % to 60 % of raw gases formed in the form of blast furnace top gas and converter gas are used to produce synthesis gas. Energy required for the metallurgical plant is at least partially provided by the use of electrical energy, which is obtained from a renewable energy source.
EFFECT: invention allows to improve the balance of carbon dioxide at a metallurgical plant by reducing its emissions into the atmosphere.
