BRAKING PAD FOR THE DRUM BRAKE WITH DISPLACED CAM FOLLOWERS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC F16D51/22 F16D65/08

Abstract RU 2670850 C9

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of transport machine building. Drum brake contains brake shoe. Brake shoe for the drum brake contains the first rib and installed on the first rib the brake plate. First rib has first and second ends, wherein the said first end is made with possibility of hinged connection to the said drum brake interacting braking spider. Said first rib second end is configured to engage the cooperating cam follower, located at the said first rib said second end in the first and second radial displacement directions. Cam follower performs the brake shoe movement between the engagement and disengagement positions with the corresponding braking surface.

EFFECT: enabling the braking forces direction improvement for the mechanical stress reduction, as well as increase in the brake pads efficiency and increase in the drum brake braking pads thickness.
