FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a rare earth magnet R-Fe-B (R is a rare earth element) and a method for producing it. In particular, the invention relates to a rare earth magnet (Ce, La)-Fe-B and a method for producing it. Rare earth magnet includes the main phase, the grain boundary phase present around the main phase, and the intermediate phase located between the main phase and the grain boundary phase. Magnet has a composition, which is represented by the formula ((Ce(1-x)Lax)(1-y)R1y)pT(100-p-q-r)BqM1r⋅(R21-zM2z)s, where R1 and R2 are rare earth elements other than Ce and La, T is at least one element selected from Fe, Ni and Co, M1 is an element with a small amount, which does not affect the magnetic characteristics, and M2 is a doping element for which the melting point R21-zM2z below the melting point R2. Total concentration of Ce and La is higher in the main phase than in the intermediate phase, and the concentration of R2 higher in the intermediate phase than in the main phase.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to prevent a decrease in magnetization when the coercive force is improved.
