FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a polyethylene composition having a fusion enthalpy ΔHfus, measured by differential scanning calorimetry at a heating rate of 20 °C per minute, with a heat flux of 60 J/g or higher, preferably 70 J/g or higher, and containing (all values in weight percentages): (A) 25–55 %, preferably 30–45 % polyethylene, containing in relation to the weight of A) 10 % or less, preferably 8 % or less, more preferably 5 % or less of the XSA fraction, soluble in xylene at 25 °C; (B) 45–75 %, preferably 55–70 % of a copolymer of ethylene and propylene, containing from 45 to 70 %, preferably from 50 to 70 % ethylene, and 60 % or more, preferably 65 % or more, in particular 70 % or more of the XSB fraction, soluble in xylene at 25 °C, wherein the amount of ethylene and the amount of the XSB fraction is given in relation to the weight of B), in which the amounts of A) and B) are given in relation to the total weight of A) + B). Invention also relates to a polymerisation process for preparing said polyethylene composition, a polyolefin composition containing said composition and moulded articles from such a polyolefin composition.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining a polyethylene composition well suited to obtain the end polyolefin compositions with excellent optical properties and high impact strength.
