FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a polyethylene composition containing (all values in weight percent): A) 30–60 %, preferably 30–55 % polyethylene containing, relative to the weight of A) 10 % or less, preferably 8 % or less, more preferably 6 % or less of the XSA fraction, soluble in xylene at 25 °C, B) 40–70 %, preferably 45–70 % of a copolymer of ethylene with at least one olefin of formula HC2= CHR, where R represents a linear or branched alkyl radical containing from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, containing from 65 to 90 %, preferably from 70 to 90 % ethylene and from 55 to 15 %, preferably from 50 to 20 % of the XSB, fraction, soluble in xylene at 25 °C, wherein the amount of ethylene and the amount of the XSB fraction is given relative to weight of B), with characteristic viscosity [η] of the XSB fraction ranging from 0.8 to 3.2 dl/g, preferably from 1.0 to 3.0 dl/g, more preferably from 1.0 to 2.0 dl/g, in which the amounts of A) and B) are given in relation to the total weight of A) + B). Also claimed is a polymerisation method for producing said polyethylene composition, a polyolefin composition containing said composition, and a moulded article containing such a polyolefin composition.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining a polyethylene composition, suitable for the formation of end polyolefin compositions with an extremely favorable balance of elongation at the time of rupture, optical properties and less shrinkage during cooling, while maintaining good impact strength.
