FIELD: control systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and systems for controlling a car engine for supplying the required torque to a power take-off shaft device. In one example, a method is presented for a vehicle with a power take-off shaft (PTS) device connected to an engine, in which the PTS load is estimated based on the difference between the engine output torque and the output torque of a torque converter and adjusting the engine output torque based on the estimated PTS load during the transition between engine states.
EFFECT: technical result is torque control.
