FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the evaluation of the transport-operational condition of road surfaces of motor roads. Device for assessing the condition of the pavement contains a microphone located above the road surface, piezo-acoustic accelerometers placed on the fortified part of the roadside, and signal recording and processing means including an information signal normalization device connected to the microphone, a wireless interface converter for receiving the signal from the accelerometers, a microprocessor, and converters of a standard digital interface into a front-end format or a wireless Wi-Fi network. Microphone and signal recording and processing facilities can be placed on lighting supports or directly in lanterns (plafonds) of illumination.
EFFECT: ensuring continuous monitoring of the condition of the road surface in order to improve traffic safety.
