FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of regenerative braking control devices. Said device comprises wheels and a motor configured to brake and drive the wheels, for travelling by means of a motor, driving the wheels, and applying braking force to the wheels by the regenerative braking force of the motor. Said device is configured to gradually reduce the recuperative braking distance for a predetermined time, at which the charge of the battery, used as a motor energy source, decreases to a level (SOCL), in which the battery is discharged, so that the regenerative braking force can no longer be formed from a tunable charge value that is greater than SOCL.
EFFECT: it is possible to avoid driver’s overload and shocks during braking.
