Rim (10) of the bowl has a circumferential, in particular a circumferential, projecting part (13), which forms a bubble guide for water, which has a hydraulic connection to distribution hood (11). Projecting part (13) has horizontal first wall (14), which passes into the diverting partition of distribution hood (11). Rim (10) of the bowl has second wall (15) which extends downward. First and second walls (14, 15) form hollow channel (24) of the water guide, which is open to the side and to the bottom. Lower edge of distribution hood (11) is at the same height as inner edge (23) of the bowl of the toilet bowl in the region of inlet (12), or above it. Toilet contains the toilet bowl described above.

EFFECT: improved protection against splashing of the washing water is provided, while maintaining the availability of a water guide sufficient to clean the bowl.
