SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an extruded, solid honeycomb material, which comprises a copper-promoted, small-pore, crystalline molecular sieve catalyst for converting nitrogen oxides in the presence of a reducing agent, wherein the crystalline molecular sieve contains a maximum ring size of eight tetrahedral atoms, wherein said extruded solid honeycomb material comprises 20-50 % by weight matrix component comprising diatomaceous earth, wherein 2-20 % by weight of the extruded, solid honeycomb material is diatomaceous earth; 80-50 % by weight of the small-pore, crystalline molecular sieve ion-exchanged with copper; and 0-10 % by weight of inorganic fibres. Invention also relates to an exhaust system, an internal combustion engine, a vehicle, a method for converting nitrogen oxides (NOx) in gas, the use of an extruded solid honeycomb material and a method for manufacturing an extruded solid honeycomb material.
EFFECT: technical result is improved selective catalytic reduction activity.
