FIELD: waste disposal devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for the disposal of waste documents by combustion and can be used to ensure the destruction of documents of various formats stitched or from individual sheets and other forms of printed publications. Furnace for the destruction of documents includes a housing with a chimney, a loading door, an ash box, a device for distributing and filing documents, comprising the side walls of the hull and a double-slope tunnel with primary and secondary air ducts at the base, placed with a slope between the front and rear walls of the hull above the grate system, including connected W-shaped grate plates with a ridge grate and pipe grates installed vertically above the holes at the junction of the plates and the ridge grate, plates are established at an angle 40–45° with respect to the horizontal plane and there are holes therein, closed by arched plates, with a total area of holes of about 15–17 % of the cross-sectional area of the primary air duct, which has a flap on one side, and on the other side of the connected air duct with undergrate cavity and a secondary air duct, and the cross-sectional area of the primary air duct is approximately equal to the cross-sectional area of the chimney, the cross-sectional area of the secondary air duct is about 20–25 % of the cross-sectional area of the primary air duct, while in the side and top walls of the secondary air duct there are holes with a total area of 20–25 % of the cross-sectional area of the primary air duct, and in the pipe grates, plugged from above, on the side surface, on one side, holes are made facing the plates with a total area of 10–12 % of the primary air duct area, the area of the holes between the plates and the ridge grate is 25–30 % of the area of the primary air duct, and the end of the chimney pipe is passed inside the tunnel and fixed on it, at the same time along the side surfaces of the tunnel above the secondary air duct there are holes with a total area approximately equal to that of the chimney.
EFFECT: technical result – a significant reduction in the amount of additional fuel required for combustion of documents, automation of the combustion process, simplification and cheapening of the furnace design.
