SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heat engineering, namely to solid fuel heating equipment and can be used to create household heating fireplaces of continuous burning. The fireplace of continuous burning contains a housing with a furnace chamber, a grate, an ash pan with an ash box, an inlet duct with a flap for adjusting the inlet air, an afterburning chamber, a chimney, a door with a fireplace heat-resistant glass, a slit for blowing heat-resistant glass. The fireplace additionally contains a hopper with a grate on the bottom and a gas window in the lower part of the side wall, a loading door and a door for ignition, a transition tunnel connecting the gas window of the hopper with the lower part of the furnace chamber, a smoke removal flap with a drive and a position lock, a gas channel connecting the hopper with the chimney through the smoke removal flap. The inlet duct is divided by a partition into a primary air duct connected to the under-grate cavity and a secondary air duct connected to the secondary air supply openings to the afterburning chamber. At the same time, the afterburning chamber in the form of a thermally insulated horizontal gas channel passing into several vertical channels is located in the transition tunnel and the combustion chamber. Moreover, the cross-sectional area of the horizontal gas channel of the afterburning chamber is equal to the total cross-sectional area of the vertical channels.

EFFECT: increase in the duration of fireplace operation with one fuel load, by increasing its volume and increasing the efficiency of combustion, and in obtaining new visual images of the flame.
