FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Leg implant of an asymmetric shape includes an outer shell and a gel filler. Upper part of the implant is flattened, and its width is two or more times greater than the height. Lower part of the implant for at least 30 mm from its lower end is made narrower with a gradually decreasing section, so that its width along the entire length is less than 1.6 times the height. Transition from the top of the implant to its lower part is smooth.
EFFECT: invention provides a reduction in the probability of gel contents flowing to the lower part of the implant, which prevents the implant from contouring.
