FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to measuring instruments for a wide class of aircraft (AC) and can be used in forming an estimate of the absolute altitude of the aircraft. Method of forming the absolute altitude of the flight of the AC is to determine the current coordinates of the location of the AC using the navigation system, determine the current height of the terrain using means for storing and processing a database of the heights of the terrain and the current coordinates of the location of the AC, measure the absolute barometric height, measure the height relative to the earth's surface, measure the satellite height using the satellite channel of the navigation system, calculate the calculated value of the absolute height by summing up the current height of the terrain and the height relative to the earth's surface, correct the satellite height by summing it with the satellite altitude correction, which is calculated by filtering the mismatch between the calculated altitude and the satellite altitude, form an estimate of the altitude by summing the absolute barometric altitude with the value of the altitude correction. Initial values of the satellite altitude correction and the altitude correction are calculated and set in the process of take-off using a calculator and a compression sensor for the main landing gear legs, determine the values of the maximum and minimum heights of the terrain in the area of the monitoring of the terrain using means for storing and processing a database of the heights of the terrain, form a sign of the health of the altitude relative to the earth’s surface and the health of the means for memorizing and processing the database of the heights of the terrain therewith, determine the roughness index of the terrain, determine the normal deviation of the measurement error of the current coordinates of the location of the AC using the navigation system, and taking them into account form a sign of the health of the calculated values of the absolute height, the magnitude of the satellite altitude correction is memorized in its absence, and the magnitude of the altitude correction is formed by integrating the weighted value of the second error. System for forming the absolute altitude of the flight of the aircraft includes a gauge of absolute barometric altitude, a radio altimeter and a calculator connected to an absolute barometric altitude meter and a radio altimeter, a navigation system with a satellite channel and means for storing and processing a database of terrain elevations connected to a calculator. System contains a sensor compression main racks of the chassis, connected to the computer. Aircraft contains a system.
EFFECT: improving flight safety near the ground by solving the problem of forming the absolute altitude of the flight of the aircraft with high accuracy and reliability over the entire operating range of the roll and pitch angles of the aircraft.
