FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, neurology, endocrinology and relates to a method for diagnosing the subclinical stage of diabetic neuropathy. Essence of the method: in a patient with a violation of carbohydrate metabolism, the serum level of the cerebral neurotrophic factor (BDNF) is examined by enzyme immunoassay, additionally, the levels of the highly specific tropomyosin kinase receptor (Trk-B), vasculoendothelial growth factor (VEGF) and fasting glycemia (Glu) are determined. Subsequently, the coefficient is calculated from the regression model formula K=0.2*Glu+0.55*TrkB+0.3*(BDNFA/VEGF), where K is the coefficient, 0.2 is the regression constant, Glu is the blood glucose level, 0.55 is the regression constant, Trk-B is the serum level of the tropomyosin receptor of kinase type B, 0.3 is the regression constant, BDNF is the serum level of the cerebral neurotrophic factor, VEGF is the serum level of the vasculoendothelial growth factor, and at K>4.5 value the subclinical stage of diabetic neuropathy is diagnosed.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the sensitivity and specificity of the method.
