For forecasting of skin sensitivity when treating diabetic distal polyneuropathy of lower extremities with pain syndrome a specific anti-diabetic therapy and neurological examination of patient are made before and after treatment. This neurological examination estimates degree of manifestation of pain syndrome as scores under visual analogue scale. At reduction of degree of pain syndrome manifestation after treatment up to 4 points and less the reliable recovery of tactile, pain and temperature sensitivity in the distal portions of lower extremities can be forecasted.

EFFECT: method enables predicting recovery of skin sensitivity when treating diabetic distal polyneuropathy of lower extremities with pain syndrome under absence of skilled doctors and laboratories.
