FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to neurology, and is applicable in infant diabetic peripheral neuropathy treatment. Invention involves exposure of lower extremity to luminous flux of visible spectrum for 10 minutes. Treatment involves green and blue spectrum in travelling mode with luminous flux travel rate of 0.5-0.7 mps in affected nerve projection towards peripheral extremity end. Radiation intensity reaches 1-2 mW/cm2. Treatment course comprises 13-15 sessions.
EFFECT: improved microcirculation and trophism of nerve fibres, enhanced nervous impulse transfer rate in peripheral nerves and tissue regeneration, curbed diabetic peripheral neuropathy progress, improved life quality for children with Type 1 diabetes.
