FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an erodible antifouling coating composition, to a substrate which is at least partially coated with a dried coating composition, to a method of producing the composition and a coating method. Coating composition comprises an erodible binder system excluding a triorgano tin based binder, one or more antifouling agents and a mixture of silicone oils. Silicone oils in the mixture of silicone oils are distinguished by the molecular weight and / or nature of the groups bound to the silicon atom. Coating composition is obtained by combining a system of an erodible binder component, silicone oils, a solvent and, optionally, any other conventional coating components. Then they are mixed by an appropriate method. Non-dried coating composition is applied to the surface of the substrate without the leached layer to be coated, and the solvent is then removed. Substrate may be metallic, a primer layer, an intermediate layer or a previous anti-fouling coating.
EFFECT: anti-fouling coating composition is intended to be applied, for example, to the hull of a ship, in order to potentially prevent the adhesion and growth of fouling agents on the hull.
