FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: inclined belt conveyor comprises endless belt that makes load bearing 1 and idle runs. Flexible elements 3 made from steel wire ropes are arranged between belt runs with minimum clearance 2. Flexible elements envelope deflecting units 4, 5 fitted on both sides of load bearing run chute and in symmetry about its lengthwise axis 6, with horizontal orientation of slack runs directed perpendicular to conveyor belt lengthwise axis. Ends 7, 8 of flexible elements are fixed in drum 10 articulated with drive 9 in diametrical opposition. Deflecting units and drum with drive are arranged on "П"-shape post 12 to accommodate there inside and with necessary clearances the belt load carrying run with transferred load 13. Drum drive is electrically connected with conveyor drive and belt breakage pickup.

EFFECT: preventing conveyor belt downward run after cutting off of drive motor and entrapping load carrying run after belt breakage.
