SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering. Methods, equipment and computing devices for activated lighting devices are disclosed. In various embodiments, the composition of the lighting system can be established at least in part on the basis of database (851, 951) of one or more lighting device records, associated with one or more lighting devices (100, 600, 700, 800a, 800b, 900, 1000a, 1000b, 1000c) of the lighting system. In various embodiments, it can be determined based on the established composition that a predetermined criterion is met. In various embodiments, a message may be output in response to the determination.

EFFECT: message can be configured to facilitate activation of the deactivated function of the lighting device for the lighting device associated with the lighting system.
