FIELD: lighting.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting control. Result is achieved due to that the lighting control device (106) may include accelerometer (118), a wireless communication interface (112) and fastening connection (125) for fixing the lighting control device on the surface. Fastening joint can be configured to transfer motion imparted to the accelerometer. Controller (108) can be connected to an accelerometer and a wireless communication interface. Controller can be configured to receive from accelerometer signal representing motion, recognized by accelerometer; determining, based on the signal from the accelerometer, that the detected motion satisfies the motion criterion; and transmit data, configured to instruct one or more lighting units to emit light having one or more selected properties, via wireless communication interface in illumination unit (104) or lighting system bridge (102).

EFFECT: technical result is control of one or more properties of light emitted by the lighting unit, based on one or more motions, identified by the lighting control device, which is fixed on the surface of the object.
