SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication. In one embodiment for example, the user equipment (UE) can comprise at least one radio frequency (RF) transceiver, at least one RF antenna and logic, at least a portion of which is configured as hardware, wherein the logic is adapted to receive a Radio Resource Control (RRC) message containing a RadioResourceConfigDedicated field, and perform a radio resource configuration procedure in response to receiving the RRC connection control message, wherein the RRC connection control message comprises auxiliary information for network-assisted interference cancellation and suppression (NAICS), which identifies the power offset value for one or more transmissions to the UE on the physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) of the serving cell of the UE.

EFFECT: technology of power offset signaling for receivers with network-assisted interference cancellation and suppression (NAICS) is described.
