SUBSTANCE: technologies of power offset signalling for network attenuation and interference cancellation sensors (NAICS) are described. In one embodiment, for example, a user equipment (UE) may comprise at least one radio frequency (RF) transceiver, at least one RF antenna and logic, at least a portion of which is configured as hardware, wherein the logic is adapted to receive a connection management message of radio resource control (RRC) comprising a RadioResourceConfigDedicated field, and perform a radio resource configuration procedure in response to receiving the RRC connection management message, wherein the RRC connection management message comprises auxiliary information for network attenuation and interference cancellation (NAICS) which identifies the power offset value for one or more transmissions in the UE by the physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) of the serving cell of the UE.
