SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a rail vehicle. Rail vehicle comprises a set of operating means subsystems, a driver's cab display device for displaying information to the driver of the vehicle, which comprises at least one central display unit. Driver's cab display device comprises a pre-connected display control unit, configured to control the dynamic content information content for the display unit related to multiple operating means subsystems. Control of the control unit includes checking at least one condition and processing information depending on the check result. One condition of the control process concerns the onset of an operational event, and the processing of information includes the display of information depending on the check result. Control unit comprises an interface through which, during operation, it accesses a database in which at least one piece of information related to the subsystem is assigned to the operational events, respectively. Method for outputting information to a rail vehicle driver is also disclosed.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improving the functions of displaying information to a vehicle driver.
