FIELD: antenna technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of antenna technology, in particular to the low-directional, axisymmetric vertical polarization antennas used as receiving / transmitting antennas on aircraft. Claimed antenna contains a circular waveguide providing vertical polarization with the help of single-mode original excitation circuit E01; metal body, having 3 stages with different values of diameters and heights, proportional to the values of the wavelengths of the operating range; a metal rod having 2 cylindrical portions and a conical portion, the dimensions of which are proportional to the wavelengths of the operating range; as well as an end plate and a metal nozzle, the dimensions of which are proportional to the wavelengths of the operating range. Values of diameters D1, D2, d1, d2 are obtained as the design parameters of a two-stage Chebyshev matching transformer. Band of operating frequencies is ±20 % of the center frequency of the operating range.
EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring the creation of a non-protruding waveguide vertical polarization antenna with a directional pattern close to the vertical vibrator directivity pattern and a high quality of matching.
