FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of antenna equipment and can be used as a receiving/transmitting antenna with circular polarization in the VHF-range, including as antennae of spacecrafts, as an element of the antenna array, as a radiator of the mirror-parabolic antenna. Antenna consists of a metal pad installed above the end face of a metal thin-walled cylinder, in walls of which exciting slits and balancing apertures are cut. Antenna is matched at two excitation points by selection of cylinder diameter, annular nozzle and sizes of symmetric windows.
EFFECT: technical result which is achieved by the patentable invention is the creation of a simple resonant annular antenna having a minimum electrical height of (0,13 λ), an ellipticity coefficient of more than 0,8 within the width of the beam pattern at half power and a high level of matching (SWR ≤ 2,0 in band 3 %).
