SUBSTANCE: absorbent body (7) for absorbent article (1) comprises: absorbent core (11) comprising polymeric absorbent (19) and core wrapping elements (13, 14). Core wrapping elements (13, 14) comprise: (i) layer (25, 26) containing the first hydrophilic fibers, which is adjacent to absorbent core (11) and contains first hydrophilic fibers (23, 24) having average fiber length of 25 mm to 75 mm; (ii) layer (29, 30) comprising cellulosic fibers that adheres to layer (25, 26) containing first hydrophilic fibers and contains cellulosic fibers (27, 28) and (iii) layer (33, 34), containing second hydrophilic fibers, which is adjacent to layer (29, 30) containing cellulose fibers, and comprises second hydrophilic fibers (31, 32) having an average fiber length of 25 mm to 75 mm. Some of cellulosic fibers (27, 28) pass through layer (25, 26) containing the first hydrophilic fibers and are in contact with absorbent core (11).

EFFECT: purpose of the present disclosure is to provide an absorbent body, which, when the liquid is repeatedly absorbed, has very good ability to disperse liquid in the direction of the surface and allows the liquid to move in the thickness direction.
