FIELD: absorbent products.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an absorbent product. The absorbent product includes an absorbent member and a topsheet provided on the skin-facing surface of the absorbent member. The absorbent member includes an absorbent core for absorbing liquids and a core wrap sheet overlapping the skin-facing surface of the absorbent core. The absorbent core includes water-absorbent fibers and fiber clusters containing fibers with low water absorption capacity, having a lower water absorption capacity than water-absorbent fibers. The ratio of the liquid diffusion area in the absorbent core to the liquid diffusion area in the core wrap sheet, first value/second value, is 0.7 or more.

EFFECT: an absorbent element is provided having a high ability to permeate liquids into the absorbent core and a very good cushioning property.
