FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the food and feed industry. Pellet for food or feed product consists of at least 20 % w/w starch from cereal relative to the dry weight of the pellet (w/w % db) and from 5 to less than 80 % w/w. protein from cereal relative to dry weight of the pellet (w/w % db), moisture content 20 % w/w (% w/w) or less. Method of obtaining a food or feed product includes grinding the pellets and mixing the ground pellets with other ingredients.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides favourable flow properties that facilitate loading, unloading and transportation, the absence of any modifications of protein and starch, prevention of protein or starch expansion during the pelleting process, absence of other components.
