SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lamp assemblies for mounting in a vehicle body aperture. Lamp assembly of the vehicle comprises a lamp housing and a clamping unit. Lamp housing has first and second lateral sides, each of which comprises an integrally formed first and second abutments. Clamping unit comprises a clamp, a bolt and a nut. Clamp has a connecting wall with corresponding first and second side walls extending from the connecting partition, and a first and a second tab extending inwardly from the first and second side walls, respectively. Bolt is inserted through the hole in the connecting part of the clamp, and the nut is screwed onto the bolt. When the lamp assembly is in the pre-compressed position, the nut is spaced from the stops, and when the lamp assembly is in the compressed position, the nut and / or the connecting wall contacts the stops.
EFFECT: increase in the tightness of the connection between the lamp housing and the body of the vehicle is achieved.
