FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for paint and varnish, rubber, electrical, food industry, and can also be used in the manufacture of adsorbents. Fraction C of the suspension obtained in a catalytic cracking unit (FCC or RFCC) is sent to a filtration stage (FILT) to separate fine solid particles – less than 10 microns. Resulting clarified fraction Cʺ of suspension containing less than 300 ppm of fine particles is sent to the hydrotreating stage (RDS), carried out at a pressure of 50–200 bar, temperature of 300–420 °C, hourly space velocity (VVH) of 0.1–2.5 h-1. Then the stream E from the RDS stage is subjected to distillation (DIST), obtaining the “light” part F and the residue G with a sulfur content of less than 0.3 %, having a density greater than 0.97 g/cm3, which is introduced into the installation of carbon black (CBU) to obtain the final product brand from 110 to 990. At the RDS stage, hydrodemetallization and desulfurization catalysts are used sequentially. To clarified fraction Cʺ a hydrotreated vacuum residue can be added from the vacuum distillation column; and also preferably a non-hydrotreated atmospheric residue from an atmospheric distillation column or a vacuum distillate from a vacuum distillation column.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain furnace carbon black of any brand from refined petroleum products.
