FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of treating oil for pyrolysis of plastics, involving: a) a step for selective hydrogenation of said feedstock in the presence of hydrogen and at least one selective hydrogenation catalyst, at temperature of 100 to 150 °C, hydrogen partial pressure from 1.0 to 10.0 MPa abs. and hourly space velocity from 1.0 to 10.0 h-1 to obtain a hydrogenated stream; b) a step for hydrotreating said hydrogenated stream in the presence of hydrogen and at least one hydrotreating catalyst at temperature of 250 to 370 °C, hydrogen partial pressure from 1.0 to 10.0 MPa abs. and hourly space velocity from 0.1 to 10.0 h-1 to obtain a hydrotreated stream; c) a step of separating the hydrotreated stream leaving step b) in the presence of an aqueous stream, said step being carried out at temperature of 50 to 370 °C to produce at least a gas stream, a water stream and a hydrocarbon stream. Said separation step c) involves introduction of an aqueous solution into the hydrotreated stream leaving step b) before the washing/separation section.
EFFECT: improved yield of light olefins at the steam cracking stage with simultaneous reduction, in particular, of the risks of clogging at the stages of processing oils of pyrolysis of plastics.
