SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of contact of particles with a fluid medium. In the method, the device directing fluid 116 to radial reactor 110 comprises a vertically elongated tubular channel extending around the circumference of the outer wall of said radial reactor 110, moreover, the distance, measured from one side of the specified vertically elongated tubular channel to the opposite side of the specified elongated tubular channel at the top of the specified elongated tubular channel, differs from the distance, measured at the bottom of the specified vertically elongated tubular channel, with the said vertically elongated tubular channel further comprising an upper section with riser 114 having a wider section, which is at least as wide as the hole in the specified riser.
EFFECT: in such a device, the total content of the catalyst can be increased, which creates an advantage in its operation; in addition, a gradual decrease in the cross section from top to bottom reduces the change in velocity head (affects the maintenance of a constant speed and limits the reduction in speed) and ensures that an acceptable pressure drop is achieved to evenly distribute the fluid in the radial and axial directions and to minimize the total pressure in the system, which results in a significant volume of the entire device.
