FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, X-ray diagnostics and traumatology, is designed to determine the vertebral displacement and detect the VMS instability in the lumbar spine. Functional multispiral computed tomography is performed in the form of a volume scan with a cut thickness of 1 mm, starting from level Th12 and ending at level S2, in the sagittal, frontal and axial projections. Position of the subject at the beginning of the study is a lateral position with the maximum flexion in the lumbar spine, further – in the dorsal position with a roller of X-ray-non-contrast material under the waist at level L3-L4. Multiplanar, three-dimensional reconstruction is made in the axial, coronary and sagittal projections with reconstruction of a 1 mm cut. Resultant images determine the absence or presence of anteroposterior and/or rotational vertebral displacements with measurement of detected displacements.
EFFECT: method ensures the elimination of visualization defects, accuracy of visualization of the state, location, integrity, relationships between the structures of the VMS in the lumbar spine.
