SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, specifically injection devices. Device comprises: medicine container; means for injecting medicine from the medicine container to a patient through a needle; a skin contact surface which can be crossed by the needle, said skin contact surface having protrusions which are pressed around the injection site when the injection device is applied on the patient's skin for the injection, said protrusions being arranged so as to reduce the pain caused by the penetration of the needle; a sensor for detecting contact of the patient's skin with the skin contact surface. Sensor is configured to detect the skin of the patient with the application force of the injection device to the skin of the patient, wherein the application force of the injection device to the patient's skin is greater than the weight of the injection device.
