FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy and can be used in smelting of cast iron in blast furnaces. Charge loading is carried out along radius of blast-furnace bell and hopper throat non-uniformly in composition, wherein first ore skip is formed of non-fluxed pellets – 75–80 % of weight of skip and agglomerate content – 20–25 %, in the following sequence: in bottom part of tray-type bell-less top bin, non-fluxed pellets are placed, and agglomerate is arranged above them. At that loading of the charge of the first ore skip is performed into annular zone of bell and hopper located within 0.9–1 of its radius, and charge of the second and subsequent skips of corresponding feed during loading, consisting of non-fluxed pellets, agglomerate and converter slag, are divided equally between skips, loading converter slag into bell-less top bin between layers of non-fluxed pellets and agglomerate.
EFFECT: removal of crusts in shaft of blast furnace due to improvement of mode of loading of charge materials into blast furnace bell and hopper space.
