EXTRUDED ANTIFRICTION COMPOSITE ON BASIS OF SUPER-HIGH-MOLECULAR POLYETHYLENE AND METHOD OF ITS OBTAINING Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC C08J5/16 C08L23/06 C08L51/06 C08K3/04 C08K7/06

Abstract RU 2674019 C1

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an extrudable antifriction composite based on ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene and can be used to obtain antifriction products in friction in engineering and medicine using additive technologies. Composite contains ultra high molecular weight polyethylene with a molecular weight of 4⋅106 g/mol, high-density ethylene copolymer with grafted vinyltrimethoxysilane (HDPE-g-VTMS) or a copolymer of high-density ethylene with grafted maleic anhydride (HDPE-g-SMA) in the form of ground granulate with a particle size of 160–250 mcm and reinforcing carbon fibers having a diameter of 7.5–15.0 mcm and a length of 75–200 mcm.

EFFECT: resulting composite is characterized by a uniform distribution of the filler in the volume of the polymer matrix and the spherilitic supramolecular structure of the polymer matrix, and also has an increased tensile strength and good tribological properties.
