SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composite materials (CM) based on pure high-molecular compounds and / or mixtures thereof. Composite material (CM) based on ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) with molecular weight 1–9 million has the following composition, wt%: UHMWPE with molecular weight of 1–9 million – from 40 to 99.799; short-chopped glass fiber with length from 0.1 to 12 mm, dressed or without coupling agent, – from 0.1 to 30; fluoroplastic – from 0.1 to 20; glycerine monostearate in pure form – from 0.001 to 10.

EFFECT: invention provides a composite material with improved physical and mechanical, wear-resistant properties, as well as increase resistance of long-term plastic deformation in cold with simultaneous least influence on counter plate wear at long-term finding of CM in tribosystems.
