FIELD: various technological processes; chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composite material based on ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) for tribotechnical purposes and can be used, among other things, for the manufacture of sealing elements of vehicles and agricultural equipment, capable of operating in low-temperature climatic conditions in medium of oil and gasoline, in aggressive media. Composite material for tribotechnical purpose consists of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene GUR-4022 and plasticizer, wherein the plasticiser contains emulsion wax, which is a mixture of one or more surfactants with cetearyl alcohol, at the following ratio of components, wt.%: UHMWPE – 95.0–99.5, emulsion wax – 0.5–5.0.
EFFECT: development of new compositions of polymer composites for tribotechnical purpose with increased wear resistance and strength.
