FIELD: municipal engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sewage devices. Said device comprises a channel forming a flow path and a barrier element comprising a valve configured to open and close the flow path and at least one shift element. Said barrier element is movable between the closing flow path position, in which the flow path is essentially closed, and the flow path opening position, in which the flow path is essentially open. Said barrier element is shifted to the closing position of the flow path by means of a threshold force. Said shifting element is adapted to apply a threshold force to the barrier element in order to maintain the closed position of the flow path when there is no force acting on the barrier element. Said barrier element is moved to a flow-opening position when an effort greater than the threshold force is applied, and the threshold force is sufficient to maintain the barrier element in the closing position. Said barrier element contains a matrix and a protective structure, at least partially embedded in the matrix. Said matrix contains essentially the entire surface area of the barrier element and, in addition, the protective structure contains a mesh structure that contains a more rigid material than the matrix. Said protective structure is made with the possibility of scaring off pests, which gnaw through the barrier element.
EFFECT: prevents pests from entering buildings through sewer pipes.
