SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions relates to the field of public transport navigation, operating in a particular locality and its surroundings. Proposed is a method for determining, visualizing and predicting the transport accessibility of areas and particular places of a settlement that allows passengers of urban public transport to visually estimate the time that they can actually spend while moving from one place to another. Further, the basis of this method is the procedure of conditional division of the territory of a settlement and its surroundings into non-overlapping cells of the coordinate grid, binding stop points to the cells of the coordinate grid and calculating vehicle arrival times at public transport stops. And the key structure of the proposed method is the square availability matrix, which statistically describes the time of movement between all pairs of stops at different points in time. For the convenience of perception of the information contained in the accessibility matrix, “heat maps” are used, and a single assessment (score) of transport accessibility is calculated. This method implements an appropriate system for determining, visualizing and predicting the transport accessibility of areas of settlements.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to provide the possibility of implementing mathematical modeling of the entire urban public transport without the need for additional expensive research.
