SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filter elements, which are preferably used in washing systems for cleaning liquids. Filter element consists of a core with a through vertical channel for the passage of purified liquid, made of carbon filter material, reinforcement layer made of non-woven filter material, the lower and upper flanges installed on the end sides of the filter element. Between the layers of non-woven filter material there is a loose filter layer containing fibrous sorption material, in which the granulated sorption material is distributed, the length of the fibers of the fibrous sorption material, which is an ion-exchange fiber, is from 1/4 to 1 thickness of the loose filter layer.

EFFECT: technical result: increase in the degree of purification of the liquid.
