FIELD: radioactive water cleaning technology. SUBSTANCE: filtering device has case with inlet and outlet pipes and multilayer sorbing charge of nonwoven ion-exchange material; first layer is made of polyampholyte based on polyacrylonitrile fibers of 4.5-5.5 mmole/g exchange capacity, second layer, of carbon-containing material busofit filtering by sorption, and reinforcing substrate of polypropylene or fiber is placed between them; ratio of layer thicknesses is (2.5-3.0) : (5.5.-6.0) : (0.9- 1.0); first layer of charge may be made of modified polyacrylonitrile fiber in the form of lowly basic anion-exchange resin; in addition, charge may be provided with layer of highly basic granular anion- exchange resin placed on reinforcing substrate. Upon such treatment, amount of iodine, cobalt, cesium radionuclides and corrosive anion- exchange resins greatly reduces in water drained from refueling machine to drain tank, and concentration of radioactive iodine in water reduces three to six times.
